Three Days! April 21-23, 2008
In 2002 Kent was the trainer and handler of the herding High in Trial dog at the
Australian Cattle Dog Nationals, the Border Collie Nationals, the German
Shepherd Nationals, and in the past has also won top honors at the Briard
Nationals. He has trained and trialed successfully in AKC to the Herding
Championship level as well as having trained successful Open level dogs in the
USBCHA. Lori has trained and trialed to the Herding Championship level as well
and was the trainer/handler of High in Trial at the 2001 BCSA National
Specialty. Both Kent and Lori compete successfully in the arena as well as the
open field. They also host both AKC and USBCHA trials each year at their ranch.
Kent is well known for his ability to read and understand dogs and handlers as
well as livestock, and is a great communicator as well as educator. He has

Kathy Knox
Herding Clinic

July 25-27, 2008
Kathy Knox is one of the premiere competitors and teachers of herding in the
United States. Along with competing in sheepdog trials, Kathy and her husband
Jack use their Border Collies on their large sheep farm in rural Missouri. Kathy
won the 1995 National Sheepdog Finals, and she came in second in 2005. She has
also won the prestigious Meeker Sheepdog trial, along with many other
competitions around the country. Kathy conducts clinics all over the United
States, where her mantra is “It’s all about the DOG.”
