2008 Class Information

I am pleased to announce that I will again offer obedience and agility classes this spring. Obedience and agility classes will begin on Monday and Tuesday, March 3rd and 4th, and will run in continuous eight week sessions until November 24th and 25th.

  • Monday 6:00 PM - Combined Novice/Rally/Intro to Open class (your dog needs to have a solid stay, and be well started on heeling and the recall. )

  • Monday 7:00 PM - Open/Utility class (your dog does not necessarily have to have a CD, but he needs to be very solid on his novice exercises, have good attention, and you need a good working relationship)

  • Monday 7:00 PM - Advanced Beginning Agility class (taught by Judy Varner and Cheryl Dikeman) (for dogs who were in last year’s beginning agility class. To be in this class, your dog should have an understanding of the obstacles and be able to do short sequences.)

  • Monday 8:15 PM - Advanced/Masters Agility (Most of the dogs in the Advanced/Masters class will already have agility titles and should be proficient on the weave poles without wires and be able to run full courses. This class will focus on advanced handling.)

  • Tuesday 6:30 PM - Beginners Agility class (for those dogs who have had no previous agility experience. Dogs should know how to walk on leash, come, sit, down, and stay. Aggressive dogs will not be allowed in any class.)

  • Tuesday 7:30 PM - Advanced/Masters Agility (for those dogs who are currently competing, and will focus on
    advanced handling)

See 2008 Class Letter for additional information on all classes and registration form.
